The Ministry of Social Protection Family and Child is the main promoter of the national policies in the field of social protection and social service delivery.

The Strengthening Civil Society project is facilitating the dialogue on partnership between the Ministry and civil society actors in the filed of social assistance and social service delivery, so as to help improve the efficiency of the social protection system, diversify the quality of services and promote a more active involvement of civil society in conformity with the Economic Growth and Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper.  Next to the various training initiatives, the project renders assistance to the Ministry in the elaboration of minimum quality standards for social service delivery.
