The Tacis project “Strengthening Civil Society in Moldova” was assigned by the EC Delegation to provide technical assistance to six Moldovan NGOs, which have gained (on a bases of open competition) a grant from the EC Delegation to implement the project.

The technical assistance includes several main elements: information help desk, training seminars, monitoring visits and follow-up and support activities. 
 

 
The Strengthening civil society project aims at promoting the partnership between the Social NGOs Network and government (central and local level) in the area of social service delivery in the RM.  The Social NGOs Network and its alliances receive training and consulting in management, advocacy, communications, lobbying and policy development as well as the establishment of viable of social partnerships. 

Members of the Social NGOs Network:

1. Alliance of NGOs active in the sphere of social protection of child and family
2. Alliance of NGOs active in the sphere of protection of people with disabilities
3. Alliance of NGOs active in the sphere of social protection of elderly
4. Forum of women’s organization of RM
5. Alliance of NGOs of medical-social sphere
6. Network of organization of RM active in HIV/AIDS, ITS and drug sphere
7. Association of professionals in social sphere

The Ministry of Social Protection Family and Child is the main promoter of the national policies in the field of social protection and social service delivery.
The Strengthening Civil Society project is facilitating the dialogue on partnership between the Ministry and civil society actors in the filed of social assistance and social service delivery.
